Heart Attack Fatal to Woman Shopper

Mrs. John Prebe of Millville suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack 
while shopping in a Lake City grocery store Monday about 4 pm. She was 
dead when a physician reached the scene. Funeral services will be held 
Friday at 10 am in the West Albany Catholic Church. Mrs. Prebe was born 
near West Albany April 8, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Wilde. 
She resided in that area most of her life and was married to John Prebe on 
October 28, 1900. Since last fall she had been living with her son, 
Francis Prebe in Lake City. Surviving are her husband, four sons, Francis 
and Ed of Lake City, Fred and Sylvester, West Albany; five daughters, Mrs. 
Ed (Mabel) Feehan, Mrs. Fred (Florence) Blattner, Lake City; Mrs. George 
(Edna) Sagissor, Plainview; Mrs. Carl (Ilene) Sastrow and Mrs. Norman 
(Rose) Botecher, Elba; five sisters, Mrs. Art Herbst, Mrs. John Jostock, 
and Mrs. Fred Murray, Lake City; Mrs. Otto Schaffie, Plainview; and Mrs. 
Earl Wegner, Rochester; one brother, William Wilde, West Albany; 38 
grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Two sons, one brother and two 
sisters preceded her in death.
