Aged Lady Passed Away Wednesday morning, August 5, Mrs. Robert Halpaus passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Zell, in this city, after several months of ill health. Mrs. Halpaus was born February 19, 1846 in Germany and was over 79 years old at the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and ten children. They are: Nick Halpaus of Lake City, Mrs. Fred Zell of Lake City, Mrs. Roy Nelson of Minneapolis, Mrs. Annie Hook of Theilman, Mrs. Charles Geisler of Wabasha, Agnes Halpaus of Pasadena, California, Frank of Douglas, North Dakota, Joe of Millville, Paul of Lake City, and Robert of Williams, Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Halpaus were married in Germany and came to America 59 years ago. They lived on a farm near Theilman until they moved to Lake City four years ago.
