Berryman Note: This obituary was taken from the newspaper "The Lake City Graphic". 7/1991 Rose Tschoepe Rose Sanders Tschoepe, 100, Lake City, died July 3, 1991, at the Lake City Hospital. Mrs. Tschoepe was born Rose Wilde on Jan. 7, 1891, in Theilman. She was married to Otto Sanders on Sept. 8, 1908, and he preceded her in death Nov. 27, 1943. They farmed in Glasgow Township and later in West Albany area. She was married to Otto Tschoepe in 1953, and he preceded her in death. She managed a boarding house in Rochester for six years before moving to Lake City in 1964. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Sanders of Pine Island and Eugene Sanders of Wabasha; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Violet) Irvin of Red Wing and Mrs. James (Cecilia) Danckwart of Lake City; two step-sons, Henry Tschoepe and Urban Tschoepe both of California; a step-daughter, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Mann of California; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; a brother, William Wilde of Wabasha; and a sister Louise Pembleton of Eldorado Springs, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother and seven sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 10 am Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Donald Leary officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in West Albany, rural Millville. The Schleicher Funeral Home of Plainview was in charge of arrangements.
