Berryman Note: This obituary was taken from the newspaper "The Lake City Graphic". 11/1992 Mrs. Pilger, 66, St. Paul, Dies Sarah Wilde Sarah (Halpaus) Wilde, 89, formerly of Millville, died November 21, 1992, at the Lake City Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 25, 1902, Oakwood Township, Wabasha Co. On August 10, 1923 she was married to Frank Wilde and he died July 23, 1925. She was a homemaker in Millville and Lake City, also worked as a produce worker in Rochester and spent several winters with her niece in Rochester. She moved to Pepin Apartments in 1979. She is survived by one sister, Martha Ponto of Elgin. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, one son, two sisters and a brother. Funeral services were held Nov. 22 at Grace United Church in Millville where she was a member. Rev. Everett Schloessler officiated and burial was in the Millville Cemetery.
