Although she has been very feeble for a number of years, she remained conscious to the last, taking and uniting in prayer with her pastor a few moments before her death. Mrs. Timm was born in Germany August 11, 1832 and spent her younger days in the country of her birth. In 1865 she was united in marriage to Rudolph Timm, Sr. and continued to reside there for 13 years. They came to this country with their family 33 years ago and settled on a farm near Elgin and have continued to reside in this vicinity ever since. Several years ago they purchased a little home in the village where she spent her remaining days. She is survived by her aged husband and 3 sons, Adolph and Rudolph Jr., both of this place and William Schanke (Sr.), a son by her former husband. Funeral services will be held from the German Luthern Church this afternoon, Rev. G. Drews officiating and interment made in Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview. Genealogist's notes: We find no grave markers or names on any of the cemetery maps; but there is one lot marked, "Germans Names Unknown" Lot 175 in Original Section, graves 1 & 2, so I claimed the lot & graves through the Cemetery Board and the County Attorney. A tombstone marker was ordered & placed April, 1990. I didn't find Mrs. Timm's first and maiden name on the death record, "Anna (Schanke) Timm".
