The Wabasha Standard, Thursday, July 1, 1909, page 1. Arnold Zell Passes Away. Wednesday morning this city was shocked to learn of the death of Arnold Zell, only son of Mrs. Ida Zell. He had been sick with typhoid fever for the past two weeks and passed to that last, long sleep at about midnight Tuesday. Arnold Zell was born in this city, Feb 16, 1891 and has resided in this city ever since. He was a member of the junior class of the High school and was loved and respected by scholars and teachers, and by all who knew him. He was of a quiet disposition and to know him was to be his friend. The junior class attended the funeral in a body. The funeral was held at the Methodist church today at 2 o'clock, Rev Thomas Billing officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Riverview cemetery. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved mother.
