ONCE ST.CLAIR LADY DIED AT WALDORF
Mrs. Albert Fritchie was patient sufferer; Death came as relief

Minnesota Lake Tribune: Mrs. Albert Fritche died at her home two miles 
south of Waldorf at five o'clock Saturday evening September 11. Death 
was due to dropsy and heart trouble from which deceased had suffered for 
several years. She failed gradually but was able to be up and around 
until a few weeks ago.
   Whilhelmina Kelling was born July 7, 1852 in Stargard Pomerani, 
Germany. She came to America in 1873 and came directly to St. Clair 
where she was married in the same year to Albert Fritche. Later they 
made their home south of Waldorf where they continued to reside. Ten 
children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Fritche, all of them with the husband 
and father survive. They are Mrs. Herman Jeddeloh, and Henry, Charles and 
Robert Fritche all of Ogilvie, Mrs. Frank Klinger, Mrs. Helmer Christensen, 
Mrs. Otto Shoemaker and Mrs. William Shoemaker who resides near Waldorf, 
and Herman and Albert who are at home.
   Mrs, Fritche was a devout member of the German Evangelical church. 
After a long, busy and useful life she died as she lived. She reared her
own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life 
was completed if work well done continues completion. Her Christian life 
was beautiful from its beginning to its close, and though the adversities 
and sorrows that she met on the way, her faith in god never wavered. None
ever entered her home without a warm welcome nor left without feeling the 
warmth of genuine hospitality.
  Disease did not destroy the charm of a kind indulgent disposition, but 
she was ever the same, rejoicing in the success of others and consoling 
them in times of distress.
 Funeral services were held from Zoars evangelical church in Vivian 
Township Tuesday afternoon. Remains were laid to rest in the cemetery 
adjoining the church.
