Mrs. Lunde was born at Vestra Gausdal, Norway, Aug. 18, 1858, and on May 3, 1881, was married to Anton Lunde at Lillehammer, Norway. For about a year and a half Mrs. Lunde had been troubled off and on with cancer of the stomach, but was confined to her bed until April 20, last. Her condition has been critical for several weeks past, but she struggled bravely against the dread disease, until last Monday, when she was summoned to her eternal rest. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Thompson and Rev. Morse, at the house at 1 o'clock and at the West Lutheran church at 2 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in the West Lutheran cemetery. Deceased is survived by three children, Marie, Henry and Lettie, all of whom were present at the time of her death. Her sisters, Mrs. Peter Forseth of Lake Crystal, and Mrs. Lars Halvorsen, of Willmar, were also present.
