FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Gwenn M Solseth Submitted: October 2003 ========================================================================= Milroy Echo, Nov. 11, 1915: Death of Mrs. Solseth Mrs. Amund Solseth passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Peter Lebak, at Milroy, Redwood County, on Nov. 2, 1915, at the advanced age of 82 years and 21 days. Deceased was born in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway, Oct. 11, 1833, and was married in that country in 1855. Coming to America in 1885 she located in Blue Earth County, where she took a homestead and lived until 1912. Since then she has made her home with her daughter at Milroy. The remains were taken to Madelia Wednesday, Nov. 3, accompanied by P.H. Lebak, Mrs. Mary Solseth and Mrs. Martha Solseth. The funeral was held Friday Nov. 5 at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Chris Johnson, her daughter and at 2:30 at the United Lutheran Church. Her husband, four daughters and two sons are left to mourn the loss of a faithful and devoted wife and mother.
