NOTE: This file was scanned and changed to text so there may be some typos. 504 HISTORY OF WRIGHT COUNTY Henry George Arnold, farmer and stock raiser, Monticello Township, was born in the township where he still lives, May 16, 1885, son of John and Tena (Salden) Arnold. He was reared on the farm, attended the district schools, and worked for his father until 1906, when he and his brother, Emil C. Arnold, took over the home place of 120 acres, to which they have since added until they now own about 179 acres, on which they conduct general farming and stock raising. Mr. Arnold is a Republican in politics. Mr. Arnold was married December 29, 1909, to Marie M. Bredt, and they have four children: Evan Henry, Helen Alice, Clyde Berton, Leona.
