F. Hammer, of Angel Island, Cal.; and twins, who died in infancy. For his second wife he married Rosa Cech, a native of Bohemia, who came to America in 1861 and settled in Woodland township. The service took place November 21, 1882. To this union there were born four children: Frank, of Monticello township; George, Mary and Clarence, at home.
