Olson, proprietor of a popular summer resort on Olson's Point, Buffalo lake, is familiarly known as "Johnny Olson" to all the leading outdoor sportsmen of the Northwest. He has achieved success in life and has done much to advertise Wright county as an ideal place in which to spend a vacation. He was born in Sweden, August 2, 1862, son of Olaf Nelson and Mary Storfall, who brought the family to Goodhue county, this state, in 1868, and in 1869 secured a homestead in Renville township, Renville county.
