HISTORY OF WRIGHT COUNTY 405 

William Sturman, Jr., was born on the old homestead where he still lives,
February 1, 1865. He studied in the district schools, and since boyhood days 
has maintained a high standing in the community. He has been a member of the 
township board for the past six years and is now its president. For twenty 
years he has been on the school board. Fraternally he is a member of the 
I. 0. 0. F. at Delano.
