BIEGERT DIED HERE FRIDAY (9/23/1943) Gottlieb Biegert, age 83, who died at his home here Friday, was born July 16, 1860 in Dundenheim, Germany. He immigrated to America in the year 1882 and located in Greenwood township, Hennepin county. In 1887 he was united in marriage with Ana Marie Kettenacker, who preceded him in death 18 years ago. He later married Emma (Boerner) Kretzmar (?error) who survives him. Two daughters, Mrs. Emma Pieper of Minneapolis and Mrs Susan Yaeger of Howard Lake and a son Robert Biegert of Buffalo also mourn his loss, besides one sister, Minnie Walker of Oregon, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One son Charles preceded him in death. Having reached the age of 83 years and two months, he departed to be with his heavenly Father. May he rest in peace. Services where held Monday, September 20, 2:00 PM at St John's Lutheran Church, Rev Berwald officiating. The choir sang two songs. The pall bearers were Wm Hahnke, W. K. Ernst, Carl Hafften, John Reich, Herman Pautzke and Adolph Oestreich. Interment was the the Salem Lutheran Church cemetery, Greenwood.
