Elsenpeter Jr. was in a railroad wreck at Shorum last week and had his head cut quite badly. He was in a caboose and an engine ran into it, knocking it off the track. The conductor saw the engine and jumped and attempted to run up the bank but the caboose fell on him and he was killed. A few days before Andrew Elsenpeter had his hand injured in making a coupling and is having a vacation while it is healing.
