 Buffalo Journal dated June 5, 1903

-Died of cancer of the stomach, Thursday morning at her home east of 
Buffalo on the Rockford road, Mrs. Thomas Torrison, at 48 years and 4 
months of age.  She was a sister of L. G. Gilbert and was born in Valders,
Norway.  Besides her husband two daughters and three sons survive her.  
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Carlslund 
Swedish Lurthran Church in Rockford town.
