J. Wood, Sr and his son James. This is the A. J. Wood that is buried in the Otsego Cemetary. There is a lot in the Riverside Cemetary Monticello that the folowing Wood family members are buried at. Wood, Jr Sarah Fleming Wood Freddy Wood (son of AJ and transferred from Otsego when the Riverside property was purchased) Horace Wood (son of AJ) Gertrude Wood Florence Wood Backen Keay (my mother and daughter of Horace) James Keay Ruth Wood Gillham (mother's sister) James Gillham (Ruth's son) The following is from a Buffalo paper dated 4-2-1??? For sale by C S Shimmin. ------------------------------- Otsego Occasionals ----- Born to Fred Vail and wife, a son, on the 21st. On the 24th, a twin boys to Sidney Holt and wife. A.J. Wood, Sr., died on Sunday, the 23rd, after a short illness. Mr. Wood was an old settler having lived in this place about 20 years. Six of his sons attended his funeral. Rev. Bracount, of Monticello preached the sermon. The day was so very stormy that many who desire to attend were unable new. Sam Adams is laid up with a lame leg the result of a fall on the ice. -------------- Kimball Prairie pointers --------- Mrs. M. H. Williams left for Cleveland, Ohio Tuesday to be absent several months. Frank Belknap and M. Hicks returned from the Woods last Saturday. O F Williams and A. B.
