Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: LaNaye Hennen ANTON G.H. ANDERSON (1904) Anton G.H. Anderson, farmer of Swede Prairie township, was born in Sweden March 24, 1884. When a boy he learned the painter's trade, and at the age of twenty years, in 1904, he came to America and to Yellow Medicine County. For several years after his arrival Mr. Anderson worked as a farm hand, and since 1908 he has been engaged in farming. Since 1910 he has rented 160 acres on section 11. Mr. Anderson is a son of Henry and Sophia Anderson, who still live in their native land. Our subject has two brothers and one sister: Axel, of Tyro township; Alfred, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; and Agala, who lives with her parents in the old country.
