GERHARD A. WILSON (1885)

Gerhard A. Wilson is a native son of Yellow Medicine county, Minnesota,
having been born in Lisbon township January 17, 1885.  He is a son of Hans
G. and Elsie (Sorenson) Wilson, both of Norwegian parentage.

Mr. Wilson was brought up in Lisbon township and attended the school of
district No. 26 until seventeen years of age.  He then attended Willmar
Seminary one term.  Returning to Yellow Medicine county, he commenced
farming on land rented from his grandfather.  In 1909 he secured the 
Solberg property, where he has since been located.

Mr. Wilson was married October 30, 1909, to Cora Wilson, who was born July
3, 1884.  She is a daughter of O. C. Wilson, born May 18, 1849, and Carrie
(Jurgenson) Wilson born May 11, 1854.  They have one child, Ina Geneva
Wilson, born January 26, 1911.  Mr. Wilson is a member of the Norwegian
Lutheran church.
