Pfarr is one of the big farm renters of Yellow Medicine county, farming 406 acres of land--166 acres on section 30, 120 acres on section 31, Posen township, and 120 acres in Lucas township, Lyon County. Mr. Pfarr was born in Underwood township, Redwood County, Minnesota, September 12, 1891. His parents are Frank and Mary (Bose) Pfarr. The father was born in Le Sueur county, Minnesota, and the mother near Gaylord, Minnesota. They are now residents of Wisconsin. When Henry was a baby the family moved to Wood Lake and lived there two years, then went on a farm in Posen Township, which they conducted two or three years. They then returned to Redwood county and resided there until 1904, when they moved to a farm in Lucas township, Lyon County, on which they made their home three years. In 1910 Henry came to his present place in Yellow Medicine county and began farming for himself, and he has ever since been so employed. Mr. Pfarr is not married.
