This company which is a farmers' co-operative institution, was organized by the farmers of the vicinity in 1906. It was incorporated and capitalized for $25,000, to do a general merchandise business. The home of the company is a large modern building, 56 x 75 feet. The officers are: C. E. Wilson, president; H. L. Jertson, secretary; Ingwal G. Wilson, treasurer and manager; these, with B. S. Berg and M. M. Anderson, constitute the board of directors. There are about thirty-five stockholders. The firm suffered a loss by fire in July, 1910. Since then the new building has been put up and all new goods bought. The stock is a large one, and the company is one of the successful co-operative concerns in the southwest part of the state.
