MOORE (1901) Physician, Wood Lake, Minnesota, was born at Lafayette, Indiana, June 11, 1871. In 1884 the family moved to Durango, Colorado, where William spent his boyhood days and graduated from the high school. He entered Bennett College in 1889 and was graduated in 1893. The first year after graduation he served as an interne in the Bennett and Cook county hospitals. In 1895 Dr. Moore located in Minneapolis, where he practiced his profession six years. In 1901 he moved to Wood Lake, where he has since been located. Dr. Moore is a member of the American State and Camp Release District Medical Societies. He affiliates with the Masonic, Knights of Pythias and Modern Woodmen lodges. He has served on the village council five years, been health officer since 1901, and county physician for his district. Dr. Moore was married in Minneapolis June 11, 1891, to Nellie Frances Maloney, a native of Morris, Minnesota, and a resident of Minneapolis a number of years prior to her marriage. They have two children: Helen M. and Bernice E. William J. is a son of George J. and Sarah E. (Vick) Moore, natives of Canada and Iowa. Both parents are dead. There are two children: Maud A.
