WALKER, AGED 80, DIES HERE Had Been Ill Two Years; Lived Most of Life Here Mrs. Sarah L. Walker, 80 years old, died this morning at her home at 701 East Mill Street. She had been ill two years of heart disease. Mrs. Walker, widow of Daniel M. Walker, was born Jan. 8, 1861 near Macomb, Ill., a daughter of G. R. and Susan Davis Voorhies. She was married to Daniel M. Walker Feb. 18, 1880 at Greentop. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Roy R. Walker, Kirksville; Mrs. H.A. Lubkert, Oakland, Calif.; Elmer E. Walker, Canon City, Colo.; and Mrs. F. F. Stewart, Dearborn, Mich. There are three step-children, J. B. Walker, Greentop; H. N. Walker, Purre (Pierre), S. D. ; Mrs. H. Smith, Branden Castle, Fla.; two brothers, David Voorhies, Greentop, Mo.; and C. A. Voorhies, Novelty, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. George Tuttle, Jacksonville, Ill. Two sons, Albert E. Walker and Seth A. Walker, and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie B. Broman (Bowman), preceded her in death. Mrs. Walker had lived most of her life in this vicinity but spent a few years in Illinois and South Dakota. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Dee Riley Funeral Home, where he body now is lying in state, and burial will be in the Llewellyn Cemetery.
