Bryan and Robert Rose, Published by Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis Missouri, 1876. ********************************************************************** John Byrnes and his wife were natives of Halifax County, Virginia. Their children were: William, John, Richard, Rhoda, Martha and Sarah. William married Catharine H. Thagmorton, and settled in Audrain County in 1830. They had: William H., John R., Sarah F., James T., Mary, Millie C. and Lucinda. Richard Byrnes married Patsey Barnes, of Vir- ginia, and settled in Audrain County in 1832. His children were: John, Richard Jr., William, George, Fielding, Sarah, Jane and Ann. Rhoda Byrnes married George Bonar, and they had: Alexander, Catharine, Sarah, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Georgiana.
