Bryan and Robert Rose, Published by Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis Missouri, 1876. ********************************************************************** George, Abraham, Richard and William Talley were born and raised in England, but settled in Halifax County, VA., at a very early date. George and William came to Missouri in 1817, and settled in Howard County, where they remained two years and then removed to Boone County. William settled in Audrain County in 1829, and George in 1831. The latter married Martha Wilson, and they had: William Jr., Sally, James, Martha, Harriet, George, Boswell W., Wiley and Judith.
