Bryan and Robert Rose, Published by Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis Missouri, 1876. ********************************************************************** Thomas Turner, of Virginia, married Catharine Smith, of the same State, and settled on the Yadkin River, in North Carolina. They had a son named William, who was born in January, 1778, and is now living in Audrain County, MO. He has been a member of the Old Baptist Church for seventy six years. He went to Kentucky with his parents in 1790, where he married Elizabeth Crooks, and in 1837 he settled in Boone County, MO., where he resided until 1869, when he settled in Audrain County. His children were: Thomas, James, Clinton, John, Samuel, Silas, Mary, Lucinda, Nellie, Sarah, Margaret, Narcissa, Elizabeth and Catharine.
