James W. Harris died Monday, Nov. 10, 1997 at Audrain County Medical Center.  
Services will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 12 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial 
at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Harris was born in 1920 in Logansport, Indiana.  His parents were Vernon 
F. Harris and Ruth F. Elsbery Harris.

In 1974, he married Flora Mae Korbe in Topeka, Kansas.

He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors included two stepdaughters, three grandchildren and a great-
granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Memorials to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 280 are suggested.
