He raised a large family in Barry Co., Missouri. 1. He married (1) EVA WOOD Abt. 1887. He married (2) GERTRUDE MAE ADDINGTON July 23, 1911 in Barry Co., Missouri, daughter of BERTIE ADDINGTON and MELVIA LONG. Samuel Haddock's death certificate states he lived in Barry Co., MO. in McDowell Township. It also states his name was Samuel Haddock and he was 64 years old, 8 mos, 23 days old when he died. Cause of death apoplexy or artes selerasis. (Hardening of the arteries). He was born July 4, 1870. His father was Noah Haddock and his mother Harriet Crumley. Informant was Lawrence Haddock. (document was transcribed as spelled.) He is buried at King's Prairie Cemetery, east of Monett, MO. He died March 07, 1935, died in Barry Co., MO. He married Gertrude Mae Addington, dt of Bertie L. and Melvia Caroline "Carrie" Long Addington on July 23, 1911. They were married by G.G. Adams J.P. in Barry Co., MO. : Gertrude Addington was the dt of Bertie L. and Carolina Long Addington. She is buried by Samuel Sanders Haddock at Kings Prairie Cemetery in Barry Co., MO., near Monett. She lived at 402 Lincoln, Monett, MO., and died April 21, 1974. Gertrude Addington Haddock lived 32 years in Monett, MO. Obituary reads: Gertrude Haddock: Funeral services for Mrs Gertrude M. Haddock, 82 who died at 5 pm Sunday April 21st at St Vincent's Hospital following a short illness, will be at 2 pm Thursday at First Baptist Church, Monett. Rev Grady Cockerham will officiate. Burial will be in King's Prairie Cemetery, southeast of Monett, under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home Monett. Mrs. Haddock was born April 9, 1892 at Purdy. She had lived in Monett for the last 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband Samuel Haddock died in January of 1935.
