Obituary, Cecil Henry Padgett, Jr., Barry County, Missouri OBITUARY: "Barry County Advertiser" Oct 1, 1997- - Cecil Padgett, Jr., "Cecil Henry "Hank" Padgett, Jr., 70, Shell Knob. died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, at the Barry County Care Center, Cassville, following a lengthy illness. "Mr. Padgett, son of Cecil Henry Padgett and Stella Mae Bingham Padgett (1899-1955), was born July 31, 1927, in Chicago, Ill. He was a Merchant Marine veteran, serving 1945 to 1947. He was a commercial art illustrator for 40 years and retired from Cotter and Co. True Value Hardware after 16 years. He was a charter member of Paramount Tall Club, Chicago. He moved to Shell Knob in 1982. He was a Scout Master of BSA Troop 51 and a volunteer teachers aid for Shell Knob School. "He married Regina Beck June 28, 1975, in Chicago. She survives. "Additional survivors include three sons, Timothy George Padgett and his wife Denise O'Neill, Buffalo Grove, Ill., Thomas John Padgett and his wife, Kathy, Toledo, Ohio, and Mark Joseph Bohdanyk, Baldwin City, KS; and four grandchildren. "In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Padgett. "Memorial services will be today, Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Williamson Funeral Home, Shell Knob, with the Rev.
