Roller ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- Mrs. Susie Purselly, wife of Clay Purselly of Pleasant Hope, Polk county, died in Springfield, Sept 18, from an operation for the removal of a tumor, at St. ???? Hospital, aged about 33 years. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John A. Williams who reside in Cassville and Exeter. ??? old and highly respected citizens of this county. Mr and Mrs. Purselly were married sometime last spring and were living a happy life at their new home, having been former sweethearts, they had drifted apart but got in correspondence and were married. Mrs. Purselly was a member of the Christian Church and was a true and zealous Christian ?? everybody were her friends, from expressions heard at the funeral. Rev. C.M. Smith held short services at the Christian Church at Exeter, Sunday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery at that place to await a beautiful resurrection on that great day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
