Sands Dead Tuesday morning the sad news was telephoned to this city, that R.H. Sands had died at his home, 4 miles southeast of this city, of neuralgia of the stomach, aged 55 years. He had only been sick but three days, and his sudden death, cast a gloom over that neighborhood in this city, where he was so well and favorable known. He was born in Rushville, Ill., grew to manhood and later on was married and to this union was born six children who are: Mrs. Bert Horner, Mrs. Dossie Farewell, Hubert Otto, Chester of near Cassville and Mrs. Walter Bass of Sarcoxie. Mr. Sands was a member of the Holiness Church, was a splendid husband, father, citizen and neighbor and this section will miss him. Rev. Flaherty of the Holiness Church conducted funeral services Thursday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in Horner Cemetery.
