Son of George Marion Stockton & Mary Inez (Loving) Stockton Richardson. Maternal Grandparents: Samuel B. Loving & Margaret Emaline (Stockton) Wilson Loving. Paternal Grandparents: Willis Green Stockton & Mabel (Shackelford) Stockton. Frances died from burns and multiple injuries suffered in an auto accident on Hwy. 37 in Butterfield when he failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the side of a gasoline truck. The truck caught fire and burned. Frances lived in Exeter. He was employed with Mitchell Manufacturing Co. in Monett. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the Monett VFW post. Francis Howard Stockton was born Aug. 19, 1920 in Cowley Co., Arkansas City, Ks. and died June 6, 1970 Barry Co., Butterfield, Mo..
