        Clay Hill 2-yr High School was operated by the Clay Hill School board with many of
        the two year students going on to Aurora High  School, Aurora, MO where they
        graduated with High School diplomas.  The picture was extremely important to the
        girls who planned and dressed uniformly for this very special occasion.  The boys
        were just boys and did not join the girls in dressing up. (Notes per Opal Thomas
        Pennel who is 96 yrs old (May 2000) and lives in Springfield, Mo.)
