Estate of Miller Lee Barry Co Missouri File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Shelley Lee For further information about Barry County please visit: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- State of Missouri County of Barry This day formally appeared before the undersigned Clerk of the County Court of Barry County,John S Lee who being duly sworn according to law and made oath that to the best of his knowledge and belief that Miller Lee dec’d late of said County died without a will and that the following named persons are heirs of said deceased (towit) Nancy Lee widow of said deceased, Loucinda Lee, William W Lee, Eliza Hagler, Nancy Ann Hubbert, Mary Jane Haddock, John S Lee, James A Lee, Columbus A Lee, Agnes E Cauble, Newton M Lee, Charles m Lee, Andrew J Lee, Martha T Lee. That James A Lee resides in the County of Graves (?) in the State of Texas and that all the rest of said heirs reside in the County of Barry in the State of Missouri and that he will make a perfect inventory of all the property and money of said deceased and faithfully do the duties of administration as required of him by law and pay the debt of the deceased as far as the assets in his hands will attend and the law direct, pay (?) over and account for all assets which may come to his possession or knowledge. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 8th day of January 1855 – William Hubbert Clerk John S Lee Know all men by these presents that John S Lee principal and Thomas Martindale, Richard Jackman, and Solomon Roberts securities are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in (???) one thousand eight hundred dollars for the payment of which will and only to be made we do hereby bind ourselves by these presents. Signed and sealed by us this 6th day of January 1855. The conditions of the above bond is that if John S Lee administrator of the estate of Miller Lee deceased shall faithfully administer said estate account for pay and deliver all money and property of said estate and perform all other things touching said administration required by law or the order or decree of any court having jurisdiction then the above bond to be void otherwise to remain in full illegible.
