At an early age she professed faith in Jesus and she and her companion were both baptized at the same time uniting with the Methodist church at the Bethel Campground, where her membership still remained until her death. She was a devoted mother and a faithful companion and always loved to go to church until her health and age prevented her from going for several years. Her body was taken to the Bethel Campground where Bro. rush conducted the funeral services after which burial was in the Bethel Cemetery. She leaves to mourn their loss and aged companion, seven sons, one daughter, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
