Green, Josiah 11-22-1860 89 yrs 8 mos. Transcribed by, Earl David Cagle Sr. August 2, 1997, ECagle3957@aol.com This Cemetery sits in a beautiful country location, with an old Church in the middle. The grounds are well kept, however there are some markers i couldn't read. While i was transcribing this, i couldn't help but think how hard life was, for our ancestors. As an example, Aldys Sievers gave birth to her daughter, Ada. She was born 8-29-1871, just 11 days old, when she died. Her mother only 28 years of age, died 3 days after giving birth to her. A point to ponder, when we feel our lives are hard. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Earl D.
