The Hannibal Journal, Thursday, April 19, 1849
DIED
In Boon county, on the 3d inst. in the 88th year of his age, Mr. John 
Connelly, a soldier of the Revolution.  Mr. Connelly served his country in the 
war for Independence, and was present at Yorktown at the surrender of 
Cornwallis.



Additional Comments:
"Boon" is the way the newspaper spelled the county.
