Biographical Sketch of Isaac Clinkenbeard, Bloomington Township, Buchanan County, MO >From "History of Buchanan County, Missouri, Published 1881, St. Joseph Steam Printing Company, Printers, Binders, Etc., St. Joseph, Missouri. ********************************************************************** Isaac Clinkenbeard, farmer and gardner, section 12, postoffice DeKalb, was born February 15, 1823, and when an infant his parents moved to Bourbon County, Kentucky, where he grew to manhood on a farm. He was for a few years in the mercantile business. When twenty years of age he came to Buchanan County, Missouri, where he has since resided. His farm contains 156 acres. Also has a fruit and garden spot near St. Joseph. He was married, March 11, 1858, to Miss Mary A. Jones. She was born in Henry County, Kentucky, October 23, 1841.
