L. Davidson, carpenter, postoffice Halleck, was born in Buchanan County, Missouri on January 14, 1845. He received a fair education, was raised on a farm, and worked under a carpenter for two years. He then carried on business for himself and has since been very success- ful in all his operations. He owns sixty acres of land partly fenced, good house and orchard. He is an Odd Fellow and Encampment member of the order.
