Biographical Sketch of A. B. Fristoe, Bloomington Township, Buchanan County, MO >From "History of Buchanan County, Missouri, Published 1881, St. Joseph Steam Printing Company, Printers, Binders, Etc., St. Joseph, Missouri. ********************************************************************** A. B. Fristoe, farmer, section 4, postoffice DeKalb, was born in Page County, Virginia, April 19, 1830, and was raised in his native State. In the fall of 1854 he came to St. Joseph and remained over the winter; in the spring of 1855 he located in Bloomington Township, where he has since resided except from 1859 to 1862, when he was in Doniphan County, Kansas. His farm contains sevety acres, which is the savings of his own labor and business tact. He was in the Pawpaw Militia two years. He was married November 27, 1851, to Miss Lucinda Utz. She is a native of Virginia.
