Philip Sommer, is a popular representative of the drug trade in St.
Joseph.  He is a Virginian by birth, and became proficient in pharmacy
in the City of Wheeling.  His store is centrally located, and he being
the most genial of gentlemen, does a lucrative business.  He is a mem-
ber of the I.O.O.F.
