Biographical Sketch of C. P. Walbridge, Crawford Township, Buchanan County, MO >From "History of Buchanan County, Missouri, Published 1881, St. Joseph Steam Printing Company, Printers, Binders, Etc., St. Joseph, Missouri. ********************************************************************** C. P. Walbridge, druggist, Wallace, was born in Grant County, Wisconsin August 5, 1856. He remained in his native county, on the farm, till eleven years of age, when his parents moved to Otoe County, Nebraska, where he remained till June 5, 1880, when he went to Atchison. Septem- ber, 1880, he went to DeKalb and put in a stock of groceries with W. H. Mack. He was educated in the common schools and the University of Nebraska, and was for some time while in Nebraska engaged in teaching. While in Atchison he was employed as clerk in a drug store.
