Biographical Sketch of William Womach, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO >From "History of Buchanan County, Missouri, Published 1881, St. Joseph Steam Printing Company, Printers, Binders, Etc., St. Joseph, Missouri. ********************************************************************** William Womach was born in Bowling Green, Virginia, June 22, 1812 and remained there until 1825, when he moved to Lexington, Missouri whence in the year 1838 he came to Buchanan County. He married the daughter of the well known Alfred M. Rector and settled near DeKalb this county, which is the birth place of his three children.
