  Butler Circuit Court September Term 1849 Record and proceedings of the Circuit Court
  for Butler County in the State of Missouri Commenced add held at the House of Thomas
  Scott in said county on the 15th day of September A.D. 1849.  Harrison Hough Judge of
  the tenth Judicial Circuit of Missouri presiding.



  And now at this time Newton Wallace presents his official hand as sheriff of Butler
  County with John Macon, Samuel Morrison, Isaac Stipman, John Stevenson, Ephraim B.
  Keener and B F Hill his security which bond is approved by the court.



  And now at this time comes John F. Martin and John Stevenson __ the commission__
  appointed to locate the permanent seat of Justice of Butler County and several their
