Helen’s hobbies were needle craft, writing poetry, LOVED TO SHOP and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Helen Masterson worked for the Missouri Child Support Enforcement Agency as a case worker for over 10 years. Helen Masterson passed from this life October 2, 2006 at her home in Newburg, Missouri at the age of 56 years. Helen Masterson was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry & Pauline Hudson & Henry & Blanch Gunner. Helen Masterson is survived by a daughter Josette Medlin & husband Richard of Springfield a son Larry Cole Jr. & wife Amie of Iowa, Helen is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Heather, Richard, Davonie, Christian, Josie & Brandin, also surviving is her mother Mary Elgin of Ogelesville and her father Bill Hudson & step-mother Mary of Newburg, 3 brothers, William Hudson & wife Charolett of Tennessee, Albert Elgin of California & Billy Elgin & Nan of Ogelesville, 3 sisters Carolyn Ward & husband Russel of Tennessee, Lucy Elgin of Oregon & Lori Collier of Arkansas. Funeral services are as follows: visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Teague & Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, Missouri. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 11:00am at the Teague & Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, Missouri. Interment will be at the Roach/Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle, Missouri.
