Butler count Missouri, Selected Brannum Marriages and Family

        Louisa E. Brannum married Monterey Elliott Nixon June 8, 1873  in
        Butler County, Missouri and 2 children were born in  this  union.
        Mary Julia b. 1874 and Monterey Elliott, Jr. b. 1877.

        Husband Montery Elliott, Sr. died in 1877  and  Louisa  remarries
        May 2, 1878  to  Joel  Cochran  in  Bulter  County,  Missouri.  3
        children were born to this union.

        Rev. Elias Brannum is buried at Nelson Cemetery, Reyno,  Randolph
        County, Arkansas. He was a Methodist  Minister.  First  wife  was
        Nancy C. Bradson and he married her 6 June 1849 in Ripley County,
        Missouri. Date of death 4 April 1904.

        Mary Julia Nixon married Charles Ward, son of  Anderson  E.  Ward
        and Elizabeth Rushin on  13  September  1893  in  Butler  County,
        Missouri.

        Monterey Elliott Nixon, Jr. married Grace Mae Wayman, daughter of
        William Henry Harrison Wayman and Lizzie Lee Jeans on 17 May 1906
        in Alton, Madison County, IL.
