From 'A history of the pioneer families of Missouri' by Wm. S. Bryan 1935
      PEMBERTON.--George PEMBERTON, of Virginia, had a son named John, who 
married Lucy VIVION, of Virginia, and settled in Scott county, Ky.  They had--
Fanny, Lewis, Vivion, Harvey, Lucinda, James, Tandy and Elizabeth, all of whom 
settled in Boone and Callaway counties in 1829.
