Rev. War Pension Excerpts
He was born Thursday, 11th December 1755, Treadyffryn Township, Chester County, 
Pennsylvania.  He stated that he was the only surviving brother of number who 
contributed their full share of service in the Revolution. One of them was a 
surgeon.  He was a Lieutenant and resigned February 24, 1780; resided Clark 
County, Kentucky, in 1833, aged 78.

Additional Comments:
There was a Dr. Llewellin Davis of Chester County, Pennsylvania.  He died 
1809.  Married Martha Jones, she died December 2, 1839.  I feel that this may 
be the brother that was a surgeon in the Revolutionary War.
