Envelope postmarked: 9-30-1892 Coelleda, MO Addressed to: Mr. D. L Sinnett Kiowa, Barber Co. Kansas 1st page begins with letter from Daniel's mother, Jane Hoover Sinnett: (Written upside down at the top of Jane's letter in Cora's handwriting, "I have not got my picture taken since I came here but will soon as an artist comes here. Send me your pictures I would love to have it".) Dear Daniel I will say a word to you all. Hope you are all better by this time. No child you have not been baptized. I God will bless you Dad. Keep you under the shadow of his wing. I would love to see you so we want you to come to see us this fall. We have plenty to eat and a good aptite to eat. Come to see us if you can. You can have Cora (_?_). She wants to come to you. She is very disobedient. She is a very smart girl. I can get a girls to with to men. This is 25 day of September. Papa is going to see Renna to morow to going to get seed wheat to sow. I must close. Rite soon. From your mother. May God bless you and keep you in my prayer. I bid you farewell my children. Dear Father and family I seat myself this Sabbath morning to answer your kind and welcome letter we received the 24 of Sept. It found us all in as good health as common. Grandma is feeble but still will go around. We was sorry you was in such a bad fix and is Ma any better than she was? Well I do not go to Sunday school very often and there is no meeting out here. No Pa you never was Baptized. Well I went a grape hunting today with a neighbor girl but made a (_?_) didn't find enough to make a pie. Aunt Renna lives in Cole County 5 miles of McGirk Station Mon. Co, MO. They was out here a month ago and stayed 3 days. She has five children, Eddie, Jerry, David, May and George he is only 4 months old. We live with Uncle Jake aunt Ann is in Moniteau at her Pa's weaving carpet. We raised wheat but can't get it thrashed. Well I am glad you joined church and hope it will do you good. Write soon.
