Carroll County, Missouri Obituary - Dulaney, Clifton. d. xxx Source: Dulaney, Clifton - Obit CLIFTON DULANEY BOSWORTH RESIDENT DIES SUNDAY MORNING Clifton Dulaney died Sunday morning at a hospital in Wadsworth, Kansas where he had been a patient for several years. The body will be returned to the Leipard-Edwards Funeral home in Bosworth where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral. The son of Charles and Jessie Dulaney he was born November 24, 1892 on a farm south of Hale. He grew to manhood on his parent's farm near Hale. He entered the armed forces during World War I and served overseas. After his return home he engaged in the occupation of farming for awhile. On January 12, 1929 he was married to Wilburta Statham of Bosworth. He made his home in Bosworth where he was a carpenter until ill health forced him to give up his work. Mr. Dulaney is survived by his wife and two sons, Allen Dulaney of Bosworth and Wayne Dulaney of Kansas City. He also leaves 2 brothers, Bill Dulaney of Duck, West Virginia and Elbert Dulaney of Kansas City and three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Muck of Meadeville, MO., Mrs. George Preston of Hutchinson, Kans., and Lolita Dulaney of Hollywood, Calif. He also leaves 6 nieces and 6 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Jessie Nell of Bosworth and an infant sister and 3 brothers who died in infancy. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Leipard-Edwards chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ted Chrystie.
